Application Questions

As part of the application process, we require you to answer some questions that are relevant to the role you are applying for. These questions may include:

  • Criminal record checks
  • Credit checks
  • Drug and alcohol tests
  • Health screening

We ask these questions to ensure that you meet the inherent requirements of the role and that you can perform the duties safely and effectively. We also ask these questions to comply with our legal and client obligations. We will use and protect the information you provide in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020, the Health Information Privacy Code 2020, and the Human Rights Act 1993 .

 

Disclosure of Pre-Existing Conditions

Before continuing with your application, we need to know if you have any physical, medical or other conditions that may affect your ability to do the job safely and effectively. This includes any past or pre-existing conditions that may worsen or recur because of the job. If you do not tell us about these conditions, you may not be able to claim compensation under the workers compensation laws if you get injured or sick at work. This is because the law does not cover injuries or illnesses that are caused or aggravated by pre-existing conditions that you did not disclose.
